Stahl’s Pottery

Powder Valley, Pennsylvania

Thomas and Isaac Stahl, redware potters, renovated this barn in 1933-34 for use as their pottery.  The stone portion of the building housed the pug mill and clay storage area, as well as a small showroom on the second floor.  The frame portion held their potting wheels, drying racks and glazing materials.
