The Tabernacle Pavilion

Powder Valley, Pennsylvania

One of 5 buildings erected on the ground of the Milford Park Campmeeting Association, was dedicated in August, 1927. A local newspaper reported: “The pavilion, which has a comfortable seating capacity for 1,200, is just as modern as the other buildings on the tract. Open on three sides the cool breezes of the woods, in which it is located, keep the worshipers from sweltering. The benches constructed in the pavilion are unusual in their comfortableness. The work of erection of the buildings and laying out the new park was in charge of Thomas Stahl.
